Gurcharanjit Singh Lamba, editor Sant Sipahi, talks about the Battle of Saragarhi,  an encounter that took place on 12 Sept 1897 where a small group of 21 men of the 36th Sikh Regiment (currently the 4th Sikh Regiment), outnumbered by the enemy, fought heroically against odds and gave up their lives in devotion to their duty saving a remote war post from being taken over.
