Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!

Now in the 63rd year of its publication, ’Sant Sipahi’, the oldest Punjabi Panthic monthly magazine, was started in the year 1945 by veteran statesman, 'Panth Rattan' Master Tara Singh. Ever since its inception it has been instrumental in creating public awareness and has always been the forerunner opinion maker.

The contributors to this journal have been intellectuals of repute who have their distinctive place in the academic and political arena. ‘Sant Sipahi’ hence finds a large readership all over the globe.

Besides Master Tara Singh, this journal was edited by Sardar Manjit Singh (LLB), Bibi (Dr.) Rajinder Kaur (Member Parliament), Wing Commander Kamaljit Singh and Lately by Bibi Kiranjot Kaur (member SGPC). And now, since April 2003, this magazine is being edited by eminent Sikh scholar and Sikh Legislative affairs expert Sardar Gurcharanjit Singh Lamba. Sardar Lamba has a couple of books to his credit published by different publishers including SGPC, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) and Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle.

Right from its inception ‘Sant Sipahi has always stood by the Sikh Principles and, taking inspiration from 'Gurbani', 'Gur-Itihaas' and 'Sikh Rehat Maryada', has guarded the Sikh interests. Committed to safeguarding the ideology of the Akal Takhat Sahib, it has always acted as a panthic watchdog taking up some bold initiatives on Sikh social and panthic issues.

’Sant Sipahi’ strives to serve the panth with great zeal. To achieve this, a larger involvement of the Sangat is necessary. So we invite you to subscribe to ‘Sant Sipahi’ and ensure that this panthic magazine continues to serve the Sikh Principles and 'Sikh Rehat Maryada'.
